The Russell Corporation offers Notary Public services throughout the Mid-Michigan area.  We are licensed and certified to notarize any documents, including: mortgage papers, deeds of sale, loans, contracts, leases, and others.  Notary sessions can take place in our office in Freeland, or at the place of your choosing in the Mid-Michigan area.

Appraisal Services

Carl P. Russell, Jr., of the Russell Corporation is a member of the Certified Appraiser's Guild of America and specializes entirely in appraisals of books and magazines.  If you need an appraisal report of your library or book collection for financial  purposes, insurance claims, or any other reason, we can be of assistance. Through professional and in-depth analysis and research of current market prices and the condition of the appraised objects, we can provide an honest appraisal of the Fair Market Value, and you will receive a written and certified report with validity for potential buyers and sellers, courts of law, tax returns, and insurance claims.

Our standard rate for appraisals is $125 per hour plus expenses.

Fingerprinting Services

The Russell Corporation now offers fingerprinting services for individuals and businesses. Fingerprinting costs only a small fee per person, and can be done in the home, business, or at our convenient location in Freeland.

Having fingerprints taken of every member of your family is an important safety precaution, as it can aid police and law enforcement officials identify and find you or your loved ones in certain events. The extra peace of mind and safety provided by fingerprinting is worth immeasurably more than the small cost. In light of the recent increase of child kidnappings, it's a precaution no family can afford to be without.

Fingerprinting in the workplace is also an important safety precaution.  Keeping employees' fingerprints on file helps you verify their employment history, and protect against theft and vandalism by employees.  Fingerprinting is inexpensive, accurate, and only takes about one to two minutes per employee, minimizing time off the job to keep your costs low.  Call us or e-mail to further discuss fingerprinting for your employees and large group discounts.
